Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS services.
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy microservices onto the Kubernetes/EKS platform using GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead the migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Stay current with DevOps and cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
• Ensure code is maintainable, scalable, secure, and up to date.
• Monitor and improve system health and performance to maximize uptime and end-user satisfaction.
• Develop, test, and maintain the toolchain and pipeline that enables continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with software developers, operations teams, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver systems and software within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles.
• Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible, including Jenkins-to-GitLab migration.
• Shell and Python scripting skills and experience creating Ansible playbooks for automation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+).
