Senior DevOps Engineer, AWS

Description

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in DevOps practices and tools to contribute to the development, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure, with a focus on GitLab, Terraform, Jenkins, AWS cloud, Kubernetes/EKS, and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Configure and manage AWS services.
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy microservices onto the Kubernetes/EKS platform using GitLab CI/CD.
• Lead the migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in DevOps and cloud.
• Ensure code is up-to-date, maintainable, scalable, and secure.
• Monitor and improve system health and performance to maximize uptime and end-user satisfaction.
• Develop, test, and maintain the toolchain and pipeline that enables continuous integration and deployment.
• Collaborate with software developers, operations teams, and other cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver systems and software within agreed-upon timelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering roles.
• Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible, including Jenkins-to-GitLab migration.
• Skills in Shell and Python scripting, and Ansible playbooks for automation tasks.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Understanding of infrastructure security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2+).
