Lead Software Engineer

Why This Role Is Important

The Technical Enablement team supports value stream teams with foundational technical capabilities, frameworks, and infrastructure for efficient, scalable, high-quality delivery. The team enables consistent execution through configuration management, end-to-end testing, and infrastructure support within standardized environments and tooling frameworks.

As part of a broader effort to standardize practices, improve flow, and drive lean/agile transformation, the function reduces technical friction, improves delivery resilience, and accelerates onboarding of new teams to enable predictable, reliable, and scalable value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the value stream, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Create automated end-to-end tests based on input from business experts and architects.
• Guide business consultants in developing configuration using a DevOps approach.
• Monitor, respond to, and debug failing tests.
• Provide first-level technical support for infrastructure, tools, and processes.
• Manage end-to-end infrastructure.
• Develop tools to support integrated tests.

What We Value

• Proficiency in C# with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD, and PowerShell scripting.
• Azure networking knowledge and related certifications.
• DevOps mindset and commitment to test-driven development.
• Practical experience with Azure technologies, including Azure DevOps Pipelines, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Cosmos DB.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code using Bicep or Terraform.
• Ability to drive transformation and curiosity to learn business processes.
• Ability to collaborate, remain self-motivated, and consistently deliver results.

• Base compensation ranges from EUR 41,360 to EUR 62,040 under the CCNL Commercio framework.
