Senior Technical Consultant (Microsoft Azure)

Description

This Technology Consulting role is designed for a Senior Technical Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft platforms. The role combines client-facing consulting (approximately 50%) and solution delivery/architecture work (50%). The consultant contributes to solution design, architecture definition, and technical excellence across engagements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales and Delivery teams across the full sales lifecycle
• Support proposal development, scoping, and statements of work
• Design project team structures, effort estimations, and cost models
• Communicate scope, risks, and assumptions to technical and executive stakeholders
• Design Azure-based solutions, including application modernization, data, AI/ML, Copilot, and Fabric
• Analyze client systems and define transformation roadmaps
• Produce architecture documentation and solution blueprints
• Conduct design reviews and ensure delivery quality
• Support development teams and resolve technical challenges
• Share expertise internally and elevate engineering standards
• Stay updated on Microsoft technologies and trends
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal communities

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem, including applications, data, and AI/ML
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions
• Proven client-facing consulting experience
• Experience with presales activities and proposal creation
• Strong solution architecture knowledge, including APIs, containers, serverless, and data platforms
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and IaC
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Background in software development or data engineering
