SME - Cryptography (Cybersecurity)

The role is part of the Service Delivery - Cryptography team, focused on delivering and supporting cryptographic solutions and consultations globally. It covers processes around TLS/SSL certificates, SSH keys, and cryptographic projects.

Your Responsibilities

• Work closely with global team members as an SME for the CLM product and processes managed by Cryptographic Services.
• Identify process gaps and escalate them accordingly.
• Identify risks of changes and propose mitigation.
• Lead change implementation in close cooperation with vendor support and global internal teams.
• Continuously enhance data quality.
• Prepare reports from multiple sources to identify problems or track progress.
• Act as the first line of escalation for other team members.
• Work with end users to help build solutions for non-standard queries.
• Respond promptly to urgent production issues requiring Cryptographic Services assistance.
• Engage with business functions to explain the SSH/TLS key-remediation process and support progress.
• Implement Change Management controls in support of tasks.
• Troubleshoot certificate-generation problems and connection issues between Venafi TPP and target servers.
• Review solution documentation to provide cryptography security-assurance services.
• Provide cryptography consultancy services to internal customers globally.
• Process requests in ServiceNow within agreed SLAs.
• Support team members.

Skills & Experience We Require

• Previous experience with the Venafi platform or TLS/SSH management processes.
• Customer and stakeholder focus, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, cross-functional IT, and global/local IT teams.
• Analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Operational effectiveness: deliver solutions aligned with approved design patterns and security, risk, and regulatory standards.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure technical platforms and technologies.
• A track record of continuously improving processes and understanding the mechanisms required to implement change successfully.
• Understanding of SSH/SSL functionality and usage.
• Good understanding of Python scripting.
• Good SQL/MySQL skills.
• Strong documentation skills.
