Mid AI/ML Engineer

We’re looking for a Mid Software Engineer with strong Python skills and working knowledge of AI/ML tools such as Torch and scikit-learn. Most of the work involves data processing, integration of AI/ML models and algorithms, experiments, and some backend work.

AI/ML focus

• Recommendation systems with collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and proprietary algorithms
• LLM-based content enrichment
• Vector search and retrieval

Required

• Valid work permit for Poland and Polish tax residency
• Good working proficiency in both Polish and English
• Availability for long-term collaboration
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and a high level of self-motivation
• Comfortable working in a remote-first collaborative environment
• Willingness to contribute to and maintain respectful, collaborative communication

Required technical skills

• Appreciation for clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
• Strong Python programming skills
• Solid understanding of software design, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience developing software using modern AI/ML frameworks and tools, such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or similar
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI
• Experience developing and deploying containerized applications with Docker
• Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB and/or Redis
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Experience with vector databases
• Experience writing automated tests and maintaining reliable test coverage

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Familiarity with message brokers or streaming platforms, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Experience with search and indexing technologies such as Elasticsearch
