Major Tasks

This pivotal role drives user adoption and measurable business value across multiple products, workflows, and platforms, often spanning business units and geographies. It requires a strategic mindset and the ability to lead complex change-management initiatives that support successful implementation and sustained engagement with digital solutions.

As a subject matter expert, the Senior Product Specialist partners with engineering, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design and deliver customer-centric solutions aligned with organisational objectives. The role involves influencing product strategy, shaping user experience, and ensuring technology investments deliver tangible business outcomes.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate cloud MES solutions, including deployment, integration, scaling, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage and optimize containerized environments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts.
  • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
  • Design and implement reliable, secure integrations between MES, shopfloor equipment, and enterprise systems such as SAP.
  • Take ownership of MES-platform operations, monitoring, and incident handling in production environments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions, including logs, metrics, alerts, and dashboards, to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across MES, cloud, and integration layers.
  • Continuously improve operational processes, observability, and system resilience.
  • Collaborate with product teams and sites to deliver scalable, robust, reusable MES solutions.
  • Contribute to standardizing deployment, operations, and monitoring practices across MES platforms.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Solid expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with operations and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or similar tools.
  • Strong DevOps experience, including CI/CD, Git, automated deployment pipelines, and Helm charts.
  • Strong understanding of system integration, APIs, and communication protocols.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, MES systems (ideally PAS-X), and GxP is a plus.
  • Experience with Node-RED and OPC (UA/DA) for integration and automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a hands-on, operations-driven approach.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.

What We Offer

The minimum monthly gross compensation is 20,240.00 PLN. Final pay is determined based on objective factors such as experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility, and internal alignment.

This position is eligible for variable pay components, including performance-based bonuses, in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
