System Analyst (SAP MM Consultant)

Senior • On-site

Poznan, WP, Poland

About the Role

Join the internal domain team supporting and scaling financial and procurement systems. The role focuses on developing back-office logistics and material-management processes through SAP MM (Procurement) and Vendor Management.

This role goes beyond standard maintenance. You will work hands-on with module implementations and seamless Procure-to-Pay (P2P) system integrations. As the organization prepares for an S/4HANA migration, you will help refactor legacy setups, optimize Vendor Onboarding processes, and expand modern supplier-evaluation tools.

What you'll do

  • Drive Implementation & Projects: Participate in the full lifecycle of SAP MM/Procurement module implementations and rollouts. Drive the Vendor Onboarding process and support supplier evaluation/scorecard tools, from business-requirement analysis through system configuration and testing.
  • Participate in the S/4HANA Transition: Help shape the future purchasing architecture for the S/4HANA migration. Evaluate legacy procurement setups, eliminate technical debt, and adopt modern S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement standard practices.
  • Execute Business Analysis & Optimization: Translate complex needs from Product Owners and procurement teams into scalable technical SAP solutions. Optimize procurement, purchasing, and logistical processes to improve system efficiency.
  • Master System Integration: Design, test, and execute integrations across the full P2P flow. Manage touchpoints between SAP MM and other modules, particularly FI/CO for automatic postings and SD, as well as external applications and SRM ecosystems.
  • Deliver Documentation & Training: Prepare project documentation, functional specifications, and user manuals. Conduct training for business end users to support change management.
  • Ensure Maintenance & Support: Resolve ongoing system and user issues, including bug fixing.
  • Champion AI & Automation in SAP: Support and expand an internal AI Agent for SAP user support. Explore and implement AI-driven tooling and automation frameworks for SAP testing, documentation, and process optimization.

What we're looking for

  • Several years of hands-on experience in SAP MM implementation, customization, or maintenance, with a track record in material management, procurement, and Vendor Onboarding.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SAP Materials Management procurement processes, with a focus on Procure-to-Order (P2O).
  • Extensive experience configuring legacy Release Strategies and modern Flexible Workflows for purchasing documents.
  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA procurement standards, especially P2P and S2C process flows in Sourcing & Procurement/Materials Management, and the analytical ability to refactor legacy setups.
  • Experience with data-migration and diagnostic tools, including LSMW and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps.
  • Strong analytical thinking, an Agile mindset, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional Scrum/Kanban teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Excellent self-organization and ability to manage concurrent priorities using modern engineering tools, including AI assistants.
  • English proficiency at a minimum B2 level and Polish proficiency at a minimum C1 level.

Nice to have

  • Cross-functional knowledge of SAP SD or SRM.
  • Experience with warehouse management, including WM/EWM.
  • Basic ABAP debugging skills.

  • Annual performance and company-results bonus.
  • Well-equipped offices and work tools, including adjustable desks, ergonomic chairs, and interactive conference rooms.
  • Choice of a 16-inch or 14-inch MacBook Pro or corresponding Dell Windows laptop, with necessary accessories.
