Senior AI Engineer (LLMs, Python)

We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Senior AI Engineer with a solid software engineering background in Python. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to grow their skills in Generative AI and LLMs, working with an experienced team on projects designed as learning opportunities. Projects

• Build a backend system for an AI-powered industrial engineering platform that uses LLMs to transform complex technical documents into a structured knowledge graph, enabling semantic search, automated documentation, and smarter knowledge management.
• Implement, deploy, and continuously develop an automotive data solution that processes and analyzes multiple document types, especially digital file formats; extracts key information; identifies complex relationships across data sources; and integrates with existing client infrastructure.
• Develop AI solutions for software engineering, including advanced source-code repository analysis based on files and documentation, grammatical rules for unknown programming languages, and automated training-content generation.

In this position, you will

• Support the development of scalable AI systems, including LLMs and GenAI, under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in transforming Data Science prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Build and enhance backend components for advanced AI systems using Python and frameworks such as FastAPI.
• Ensure code quality and implement good software engineering practices.
• Participate in the deployment and maintenance of solutions in cloud environments, including GCP, AWS, and Azure.

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

• At least 5+ years of commercial experience in software engineering with Python.
• Strong Python programming skills, including clean code and OOP design.
• Hands-on commercial experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI.
• Solid understanding of software design principles.
• Experience with backend frameworks, such as FastAPI, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Practical experience working in AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Practical experience and strong interest in Data Science and Machine Learning.

Nice to have skills

• A personal project or practical experience with frontend frameworks, such as React, Node.js, Nest.js, or TypeScript.
• Curiosity about current GenAI trends, including Intelligent Document Processing, Embeddings, Vector Databases, and open-source LLMs.
