Description

Work on challenging projects across industries, using cutting-edge technologies to design and develop data platforms. Projects include migrating SSAS cube objects and SSIS pipelines from on-prem SQL Server to Azure, automating Power BI reporting and workspace management, and building universal data platforms using Azure and Databricks. You will also support data platform transformation with data catalogs, Databricks, Apache Spark/PySpark, and Delta Live Table-based data quality monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Write advanced SQL queries and develop database procedures.
  • Create data visualizations using Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
  • Design and develop ETL processes, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, and Data Lakes.
  • Gather and analyze requirements to design logical and physical data models.
  • Work with various data storage and database technologies to build scalable solutions.
  • Deploy data applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and actively contribute to project and product development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, mathematical, or economic fields.
  • Minimum 1.5 year of experience implementing, developing, or maintaining Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, or Big Data systems.
  • Strong understanding of data processing and ETL/ELT techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for data visualization.
  • Solid understanding of Azure services for cloud-based data solutions.
  • Familiarity with web application design principles (twelve-factor applications) and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with modern development tools, including Git and CI servers.
  • Independent and responsible approach to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Proactive mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent command of English (at least C1 level).
  • Interest in developing as a Data Engineer.
