Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a strategic project within the Post Trade area. The initiative focuses on migrating multiple existing services into the cloud, providing an opportunity to contribute to a large-scale transformation in a complex enterprise environment and modernize critical financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design, support, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines across production and non-production environments
  • Implement DevOps best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle
  • Automate operational, deployment, and infrastructure processes
  • Manage server lifecycle activities, including patching, upgrades, and operational support
  • Deliver large-scale transformation and migration projects within enterprise environments
  • Collaborate closely with Unix, Middleware, Database, Network, and Security teams
  • Support engineering teams with build, deployment, and platform-related issues
  • Identify root causes and drive issues through to resolution
  • Engage with stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and business teams
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision, actively pulling work and driving delivery

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
  • Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration at expert level
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux troubleshooting and support
  • Background in on-premises infrastructure and server lifecycle management
  • Skills in Bash scripting and Python development for automation
  • Competency in configuration management and infrastructure automation
  • Significant experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and Ansible
  • Familiarity with Git and source code management, including branching strategy
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
  • Capability to design, support, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience supporting production and non-production environments
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices with a security-first mindset, including vulnerability management, secrets management, and secure software delivery
  • Knowledge of certificate management, access control, authentication and authorization, including PAM and IDAM
  • Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and platform provisioning
  • Familiarity with networking and security concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and TLS/SSL certificates
  • Understanding of relational databases and Oracle administration
  • Experience with Datadog
