DevOps Engineer (Linux & Oracle)

The opportunity sits within a major Corporate Banking Transformation program supporting lending, payments, and company credit for large and medium-sized enterprises. Average payment value is around €1 million, with approximately €300 billion processed through the system daily.

The overall program consists of around 30 squads, with 10–12 IT professionals per squad. This opportunity is linked to the DevOps platform team, responsible for 15 environments: 7 development environments, 7 test environments, and 1 production environment.

You will join a highly collaborative, self-organized, and meticulous team. You will help make the hybrid on-site/nearshore model work smoothly and travel to the office for a few days every 6 to 12 weeks.

Work organization

  • On-call duty: one week every six weeks. It is usually calm, with typically one issue per day.
  • Weekend shifts: around once every six weeks, mostly related to system releases.

Your role in the team

We are implementing two new systems using the latest Oracle technologies. The team fosters innovation and provides opportunities to work with AI assistants; GitHub Copilot is a standard tool used across the team.
