Help leading manufacturers build factories of the future, from ERP to the shop floor. The role supports Smart Manufacturing transformations for global clients across automotive, CPG, life sciences and high-tech, designing and delivering end-to-end architectures spanning SAP S/4HANA, MES, IoT and shop-floor systems.

Description

If joining, you will:

• Advise clients on Industry 4.0 implementations, from the ERP layer (SAP S/4HANA; PP, MM, QM, PM and EWM modules), through MES, to IoT and IT/OT integration.
• Design end-to-end manufacturing architectures across SAP, MES, SCADA and device integrations using OPC UA and MQTT.
• Run workshops with operations and IT leaders, design solution blueprints and manage deployments.
• Work in international teams.
• Co-create the Industry X offering for the European market.

Sample projects:

• AI-powered scheduling, predictive maintenance and autonomous quality control for a global equipment manufacturer, delivering annual savings, productivity gains and cycle-time reductions.
• SAP S/4HANA migration and integration with Siemens Opcenter MES for a global automotive manufacturer.
• Digital twin of a production line and SAP DMC (Digital Manufacturing Cloud) for a pharmaceutical company.
• IT/OT roadmap and ERP–MES–IoT integration blueprint for a CPG company.

Work arrangement

Work is delivered mostly remotely. The role also requires willingness and ability to work at client locations, primarily across Europe and occasionally in other locations, for short- or long-term assignments. There is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and relationship building.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of consulting experience, or project/coordination experience in manufacturing in automotive, CPG, pharma or high-tech.
• Manufacturing acumen and technology fluency, including firsthand understanding of planning, shop-floor operations, quality, maintenance or supply chain.
• Ability to discuss at least one of the following technology stacks:
  • ERP in manufacturing: SAP (S/4HANA, ECC; PP, MM, QM, PM and EWM), Oracle, Infor or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • MES: Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, AVEVA or SAP DMC.
  • IoT/cloud: Azure IoT, AWS IoT or Google Cloud IoT.
  • IT/OT integration: SCADA, OPC UA, MQTT or edge computing.
• English at C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Azure, AWS, PMP, Six Sigma or Lean certifications.
• German, French or Spanish.
• Experience in application blueprint design, UAT and regression testing.
