Senior Fullstack Engineer (Node.js + React)

Role Overview

The core of the business revolves around retrieving and processing large volumes of insurance carrier data. This data enables critical platform features and powers the agency commission cycle.

This role focuses on connecting processed data with the business outcomes it drives, helping shape the right solutions for agent and carrier needs rather than only implementing specifications. You will work across key data domains, diverse data structures, real-time systems, and varying data quality, while building proof of concepts to validate product direction in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

This is a backend-leaning fullstack role. Most day-to-day work involves data pipelines, integrations, and systems logic, with lighter supporting frontend exposure.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to real-time data integrations and commission systems, primarily on the backend and data layer.
• Contribute to incentive programs, including the Rewards Program (Shared Growth Plan) and future initiatives.
• Improve, maintain, and incrementally develop existing data pipelines across backend and frontend systems.
• Build and maintain integrations with external data sources, ensuring consistency and reliability across pipelines.
• Apply a product mindset so data and systems serve agents, carriers, and business goals.
• Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on testing culture.
• Use modern tooling and AI as an active part of the development workflow.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial experience as a fullstack developer, with primary strength in backend development.
• Confidence writing NestJS services and PostgreSQL queries.
• Comfortable using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Frontend experience.
• Product mindset: connect technical decisions to agent, carrier, and business needs.
• Startup mindset, high ownership, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Based in Poland with flexibility for partial US time-zone overlap.
• Fluent English (C1) and Polish (C1).

Nice to Have

• Advanced SQL and optimization skills.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL performance tuning, indexing strategies, and large-scale datasets.

Tech Stack

• TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, React, AWS.
• Docker and container-based deployment technologies, such as Kubernetes and Fargate.
• Automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Salary

26,000 PLN–31,000 PLN net + VAT on B2B.
