Lead Go Developer

The project focuses on developing a high-performance, scalable distributed platform that supports complex business operations and rapid product growth. It emphasizes reliable system architecture, efficient backend development, and close collaboration between engineering and product teams to deliver scalable, maintainable, and resilient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable distributed systems in Go, selecting appropriate concurrency models and balancing performance with maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to turn high-level business goals into actionable technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Identify edge cases, risks, and technical constraints early in planning to prevent implementation issues.
• Represent engineering in meetings with external stakeholders, explain technical topics in business-centric terms, and challenge unrealistic requirements.
• Lead and perform code reviews for senior engineers, maintaining high standards of code quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to help the team deliver high-quality code faster and safely.

Must-haves

• 5+ years of Go development experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Higher education in Computer Science, software development, or a related field.
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing/configuring it within a team.
• Experience in fintech or banking and with complex integrations.
• Experience designing scalable, distributed backend systems with Golang.
• Knowledge of Go concurrency patterns, including goroutines, channels, and sync primitives.
• Experience with system design focused on high performance and maintainability.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Advanced English or higher.
