QualificationHERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEEDMinimum 1 year of hands‑on experience with data pipelines and Databricks.Familiarity with Unity Catalog features.Foundational knowledge of Azure cloud services and cloud data concepts.Proficiency in SQL and basic PySpark.Understanding of data modeling fundamentals and basic ETL/ELT concepts.Basic understanding of Git and DevOps concepts.Good communication skills and willingness to learn.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVEUnderstanding of Lakehouse concepts and Medallion architecture.Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.Azure Fundamentals or Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals certification.Academic or personal projects related to data engineering or analytics.Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks or similar tools.Research indicates that some candidates, especially the most diverse ones, may hesitate to apply for positions if they don't meet all requirements.
