Data Analyst (Digital Commerce)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze digital commerce performance across marketplace and retail models, identifying trends, interdependencies, and growth opportunities.
  • Design and implement standardized KPIs and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and analytical workflows using SQL, Python, and Databricks.
  • Build and enable self-service analytics solutions, including dashboards and reporting tools in Looker.
  • Implement and scale AI-driven analytics use cases such as conversational analytics within the data platform.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and complex analytical projects combining tracking data with additional data sources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Digital Business, Marketing, Product, Category Management) to translate data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, (Business) Informatics, Statistics, Marketing, or a comparable discipline.
  • Several years of professional experience in digital analytics, preferably within e-commerce or digital business environments.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Webtrekk, and understanding of tracking methodologies.
  • Excellent SQL and/or Python skills, ideally working with raw tracking or large-scale analytical datasets.
  • Experience with BI and data platforms such as Databricks and Looker.
  • Strong English and Polish communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Openness to working in a hybrid model and visiting the Katowice office.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with AI-driven analytics tools or conversational analytics solutions.
  • Familiarity with large-scale e-commerce or marketplace business models.
  • Experience building scalable data products or self-service analytics platforms.
