Data Engineer (B2B)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable data platforms and pipelines supporting analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Transform raw data into reliable, high-quality data products and contribute to architectural and platform-level decisions.
• Design and implement batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Integrate data from databases, APIs, and event streams.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts.
• Support deployment and operation of data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer.
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with Spark and big-data frameworks.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Fluent communication skills in English and Polish.
• Openness to hybrid work and regular visits to the Katowice office once per month.
• Willingness to travel to the client’s office in Lisbon.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Databricks would be a huge plus.
