Lead Fullstack Developer (React, Java) (B2B)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React and Material UI.
• Implement and maintain frontend components using JSX/TSX, Function Components, Hooks, and Custom Hooks.
• Develop and integrate backend services following object-oriented design principles.
• Collaborate with team members to design technical solutions and deliver new product features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, ensuring high quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance across the full technology stack.
• Take ownership of the product and the solutions you build, from implementation to production support.
• Proactively contribute ideas and technical improvements to create innovative solutions.
• Work in an agile environment using Agile practices.
• Meet with your team in the Katowice office at least once a month to plan work, collaborate, and discuss progress.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience working as a Frontend Developer or Fullstack Developer.
• Experience with object-oriented software development in Java.
• Knowledge of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of the React framework, Material UI, and concepts such as JSX/TSX, Function Components, Hooks, Custom Hooks, and State Management.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar, to improve productivity, code quality, and development efficiency.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application design.
• Ability to identify risks, proactively address challenges, and support the team in achieving project goals.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and support developers at different experience levels.
• Good communication skills in English and Polish and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Communication skills in German are a plus.
• Successful completion of higher education as a qualified IT specialist or a university degree in computer science.
