Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch, such as ideation through execution or 0-to-1 development.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a technology- or business-related field.
  • 2 years of experience in a business function or role, such as strategic marketing, business operations, or consulting.
  • 2 years of experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to senior leadership.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 1 year of experience in software development or engineering.
  • Knowledge of, or continued interest in, accessibility best practices and incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.

Product Managers guide products from conception to launch by connecting technical and business needs and breaking complex problems into steps that drive product development.

The Product Management team works closely with engineers, designers, marketers, and other partners to design and develop technologies that improve access to the world’s information. The team guides products throughout the execution cycle, including analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring solutions to users.

As a Product Manager for Google Ads, you will support businesses running search, display, and video campaigns on Google and its advertising network. You will explore, develop, and apply state-of-the-art technologies to help publishers generate business through their content and help advertisers acquire engaged users.

Responsibilities

  • Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth.
  • Launch new products and features, test performance, and iterate quickly.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, legal, UX, and other teams on cutting-edge technologies.
  • Develop solutions by collaborating across regions, product areas, and functions as needed.
