What You Will Do

Your focus will be on the Physical Layer (L1) parts of the Baseband software. L1 is a vital building block in 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions and future 6G systems.

You will join a team with L1 software development and system responsibility. Your work will contribute to feature development, prototype development, early studies, and product architecture evolution, with a focus on quality and efficiency. You will write inventive, high-quality, clean, optimized, and mostly threaded code in a multi-core environment, as well as unit and multi-component tests to secure delivery quality.

In a nutshell, you will:

  • Develop 5G baseband architecture, functionality, and features, with special focus on signal-processing functions in UL receivers
  • Write inventive, high-quality, clean, optimized, and threaded code in a multi-core environment
  • Maintain and improve the quality of the L1 part of the Baseband product
  • Perform troubleshooting and customer support
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Join early-phase studies to transform requirements into L1 implementation

Strong programming experience in Embedded C++. Experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, or EtherNet/IP. Ability to design, build, and maintain firmware for real‑time and embedded systems. Willingness to work in a self‑organizing Scrum team and contribute to Agile practices.
