About this opportunity

We are looking for engaged Layer 1 developers to join a team based in Poland. The team will prepare for development of a powerful UE Simulator meeting 6G needs and will later become the core team for the actual 6G UE simulator development.

Simulation Services (SIMS) provides simulators to product development within Business Area Networks. These simulators are used in product verification instead of real mobile phones and real core networks. The responsibility includes development of internal simulator solutions, including the main simulator CSIM FsUE NR, and sourcing simulators from external vendors.

What you will do

  • Be part of an agile team contributing to Layer 1 development of a UE Simulator.
  • Support internal users with an important product for 6G.
  • Drive innovation and turn new insights into reality.
  • Work across analysis, system design, pre-development, implementation in small increments, and short feedback loops.

You will bring

  • Strong software engineering skills and the ability to write high-quality code; C or Golang is required, while Python and Java are beneficial.
  • Familiarity with LTE or 5G network standards and protocols, including physical-layer (Layer 1) specifications.
  • Knowledge of RF propagation, modulation schemes and signal processing.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems and software interaction with hardware components.
  • Ability to develop test cases that validate simulator accuracy and reliability.
