Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer (7+ years of experience) to lead the development of resilient, highly available systems and event-driven microservices in a high-stakes financial environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 7+ years of commercial backend development with a proven track record of building complex, distributed, and scalable systems.

• Tech Stack:

  • Backend: Java 21+, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, OpenAPI, Vault

  • DevOps & Cloud: Kubernetes , Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/Jenkins, Maven

• Core Skills: Microservices architecture, event-driven design, RESTful APIs, SCRUM, strong collaboration skills, and fluent English.

• Nice to Have: Financial services/FinTech background, experience in distributed global teams, and exposure to AI/LLM integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Architecture & Infrastructure: Lead the development of scalable, event-driven microservices engineered for high throughput and maximum uptime.

• Data & Security: Design robust data models while ensuring strict data consistency and security in a financial ecosystem.

• End-to-End Feature Ownership: Own complex backend features across their full lifecycle—from schema and API definition to deployment and production monitoring.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with global stakeholders and frontend engineers to translate complex financial workflows into high-performance technical specs.

• Engineering Excellence: Elevate code quality through code reviews, modern CI/CD automation, and comprehensive testing (Unit, Integration, and Contract testing).
