RCI Doors is looking for a driven Business Development Specialist to grow the customer base and strengthen relationships with existing accounts. The role involves building connections with facility managers, contractors, and property owners while selling commercial door and dock equipment solutions including overhead sectional and rolling steel doors, loading docks, hollow metal doors, glass storefronts, gates, and access control systems.
This position is suited for someone comfortable developing new business while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new business across commercial, industrial, and institutional markets
- Manage and grow an existing book of accounts through regular site visits and relationship-building
- Conduct site assessments to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and service agreements
- Coordinate with service and installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and customer satisfaction
- Use CRM software to track activity, manage your pipeline, and report on results
- Attend industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities to build market presence
- Represent RCI Doors professionally in all customer and contractor interactions
What We're Looking For
- 2-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in commercial doors, construction, or a related trade
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or construction documents is a plus
- Strong communicator comfortable working with facilities managers and general contractors
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage your own schedule
- Proficient with CRM tools and standard business software
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screen
