About the role
We're looking for a Senior Community Manager who is equal parts strategist, builder, and hands-on operator. This is a unique opportunity to shape how millions of learners engage with Duolingo, not just today, but for years to come.
You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Community to craft and build the community function from scratch. You'll bring creative ideas, help define structure and best practices, and co-create a vision for what a high-impact, high-delight global community looks like at Duolingo.
At the same time, you will own and lead the day-to-day engagement across our community channels. You'll be the front line of how we show up with learners, moderators, superfans, and ambassadors — cultivating joy, trust, safety, and belonging through every interaction.
You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, and Customer Support to bring the community's voice into the heart of the organization.
Responsibilities
