We are looking for an experienced Product Architect to join our Product Engineering Team.


The Product Architect is a critical role responsible for ensuring product consistency, technical vision realization, and architectural integrity across various functional areas. This role combines strategic technical leadership, consultancy for internal departments and customers, hands-on involvement in implementation and deployments, directly impacting system performance and scalability.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cross-functional area Leadership

    • Work closely with the Technical Architects to ensure cross-product features collaborate effectively with functional area specific features and constraints.

    • Act as the Product consistency gatekeeper, primarily through Refinement Review and Consultancy.

    • Lead cross-functional area Initiatives, including complex features and support tickets.

  • Product Technical Vision and Performance

    • Co-create the overall product technical vision and validate its implementation.

    • Ensure that the architecture supports optimal scalability and performance.

  • Deployment, System Performance, and Modeling

    • Collect Platform/System non-functional requirements and feedback.

    • Validate architecture decisions and deployment models through active involvement in product deployments.

    • Engage in Firefighting to gain a "first-hand" perspective of system performance.

    • Responsible for Hardware Sizing Creation and review for customer use cases.

    • Actively promote and champion modeling patterns across teams.

  • Product Implementation and Quality

    • Participate directly in product implementation.

    • Lead the technical kickoff of led features.

    • Perform code review of critical elements.

  • Sales Support

    • Participate in sales processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Over 8 years of experience in enterprise-class system architecture, performance, and scalability.

  • Capability of steering product technical vision and driving complex, cross-functional implementations.

  • Analytical skills and the application of graph theory in problem-solving.

  • Strong Algorithmic Thinking with ability to code.

  • Customer Focus and Product-Driven mindset (experience outside of a typical software house environment is beneficial).

  • Expertise in troubleshooting, starting from model verification and analysis of impact on system performance.

  • Performance bottlenecks identification.

  • Experience with big data volume processing (100bln+ records).

  • Proficiency in Backend Coding, preferably in Java.

  • Daily AI augmentation.

  • Solution design and documentation.

  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas clearly.

 

Nice to have:

  • Deep knowledge of Vertica (OpenText Analytics Database) or other analytics databases is a strong advantage.
