Oracle integration Cloud (OIC) Developer

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Developer to design and implement secure REST-based integrations between an on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) 12.2.14 environment and an external third-party system. The role focuses on leveraging OIC as the central integration platform to enable bidirectional communication, including transaction processing, financial data lookups, and reference/master data exchanges. You will build robust, scalable integrations using synchronous and asynchronous REST services with JSON payloads and OAuth 2.0 security in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop REST service interfaces in OIC for inbound and outbound integrations.
  • Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 for all REST endpoints.
  • Build and configure OIC integrations handling JSON payloads for synchronous and asynchronous processing flows.
  • Collaborate with internal PL/SQL developers to define EBS data extraction and transformation integration points.
  • Apply OIC best practices for error handling, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and deployment of OIC artifacts, including integration flows, adapters, and mappings.
  • Document integration designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Recommend enhancements aligned with evolving business and platform updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Expertise in REST APIs with JSON payloads and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
  • Strong understanding of synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns in hybrid environments.
  • Experience with OIC adapters (REST Adapter, Database Adapter) and integration styles.
  • Knowledge of API management, fault tolerance, and scalability best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), especially financial modules.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases (19c/23AI on Linux).
  • Experience integrating ERP/CRM systems via REST.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud or related middleware certification.
  • Experience working with a federal agency.

  • Ability to pass a federal background investigation.
