Great Hill is seeking a Blood Bank SME to support work with the Armed Services Blood Program.
Roles and Responsibilities
Perform testing related to blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
Report on blood product compatibility
Assess country supply chains including collection, processing and storage capabilities
Provide reports and briefings to senior leadership
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, Hematology) OR minimum three additional years' experience as Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Minimum three years of experience in clinical laboratory scientist role working with DOD military or civilian customers
Strong analytical skills and experience with transfusion medicine
Expertise in blood typing, cross matching and blood product compatibility
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders
Ability to assess supply chains
