AccessHealth – Fort Bend Family Health Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Certified OB/GYN Physician to join a growing outpatient team. This is a newly created, permanent position as part of the development of a new OB team. The role offers an outpatient schedule, no weekend call, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

Practice Setting

The Fort Bend Family Health Center provides comprehensive, patient-centered services with a strong emphasis on preventive care, education, and long-term wellness.

  • 1 Physician
  • 2 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Multidisciplinary support staff

APP supervision is required; however, no additional compensation is currently offered (can be revisited in the future).

Schedule & Patient Volume

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Physicians select their own admin time
  • Average daily volume: 25 patients per day
  • Outpatient only
  • No weekend call
  • Weekday calls filtered through front desk and nursing staff

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to women across the lifespan
  • Perform routine exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
  • Deliver preventive, acute, and chronic women’s health services
  • Manage prenatal and postpartum care
  • Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the NextGen EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the mission of improving community health outcomes

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
  • Texas medical license (active or ability to obtain)
  • Active DEA registration
  • Commitment to community-based care
  • Visa sponsorship: Possibly (case-by-case)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $210,000–$240,000
