This is a newly created, permanent position as part of the development of a new OB team. The role offers an outpatient schedule, no weekend call, and eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).

The Fort Bend Family Health Center provides comprehensive, patient-centered services with a strong emphasis on preventive care, education, and long-term wellness.

Schedule & Patient Volume

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care to women across the lifespan
  • Perform routine exams, diagnostics, and treatment planning
  • Deliver preventive, acute, and chronic women’s health services
  • Manage prenatal and postpartum care
  • Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary team members
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the NextGen EMR
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
  • Support the mission of improving community health outcomes

We are seeking Gastroenterologists to join our hospital-employed, well established group at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, AL. You are guaranteed $700,000 for years 1-2 and a seven-figure earning potential for year 3 and beyond. The position offers paid vacation, CME allowance, health and life insurance, malpractice insurance, and a 401k plan with employer contribution. Position Overview: - There are 7 physicians currently and a growing community demands the addition of two more physicians. - Physicians see 15-25 patients per physician per day in the clinic. - All approved gastroenterological procedures including M2A Capsule, EUS and ERCP are performed by the group. - The group has 14 exam rooms and is located in a medical professional tower attached to the hospital. - The practice has 37 full-time employees, including an on-site office manager, receptionist, RNs, and 4 Nurse Practitioners in the hospital. - State-of-the-art endoscopy lab capable of performing over 1,200 procedures per month. - 24-hour in-house radiology coverage. - Excellent payer mix with 60% Blue Cross Blue Shield.
