Pediatrician - Concierge/Members-Only - Part Time

As a Pediatrician, you will provide primary care to members-only pediatric patients and play a pivotal role in shaping and establishing pediatric services in the Coral Gables clinic. This part-time opportunity (~20 hours/week) offers the ability to build and grow a pediatric practice with a clear path to a full-time role as your panel expands.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, personalized medical care to children from infancy through adolescence, including routine check-ups, urgent care, and preventive health services.
- Assist in development of a concierge pediatric care model, including creating patient care protocols, service offerings, training for nurses and ancillary staff, and operational workflows.
- Educate families about health, wellness, and preventive care, fostering a proactive approach to pediatric health.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatments and manage ongoing care for chronic conditions.
- Educate parents and guardians on health maintenance, disease prevention, and child development.
- Offer guidance on nutrition, safety, and behavioral issues.
- Address parental concerns regarding children’s health.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
- Document patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans in the EMR.
- Work with the Medical Director and clinical team to implement policies and ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.
- Partner with providers to deliver comprehensive pediatric care.
- Represent the organization at local membership and marketing events.
- Collaborate with the Care Navigation team to build a network of pediatric specialists.
- Coordinate with local hospitals for patient admissions and ongoing care as needed.
- Cultivate strong, trust-based relationships with patients and families.
- Perform related duties as requested.
Experience and Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited medical school.
- Active physician license with ability to practice in Florida.
- American Board of Pediatrics board certification required.
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric physician in a hospital or physician practice.
- DEA license required.
