Andersen is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Python) for a project developing digital banking products and ensuring quality, reliability, and seamless customer experiences. 

The customer is a UK-based financial services provider specializing in digital banking solutions. Operating on a fully cloud-based platform, the company offers a range of innovative products, including savings accounts, loans, and mortgages, designed to cater to specific customer needs.  The project is focused on developing and enhancing digital savings products on a modern core banking platform. It aims to support customer onboarding, expand savings account offerings, improve market competitiveness, and strengthen the bank’s liquidity capabilities. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leading other testers in specific testing activities. 

  • Planning and preparing tests for execution. 

  • Documenting test results for traceability. 

  • Executing tests and keeping the status up to date. 

  • Documenting defects to aid reporting. 

  • Configuring test environments to execute tests. 

  • Escalating risks and blockers to the test manager. 

  • Ensuring that their tests are picked up in Standard Reports and Closure reports. 

  • Implementing and executing the tests in the automation framework using Python and Behave. 

  • Attending daily standups and other squad meetings. 

Must-haves:  

  • -Experience as AQA (Python) for 4+ years.  

  • Experience with Banking domain.  

  • Experience with various aspects of systems testing.
