Take full engineering ownership of the quality assurance and test automation lifecycle for a high-priority mobile launcher product. Entering the project at a strategic inflection point—following the conclusion of the initial MVP phase—you will begin by conducting a comprehensive quality audit and architecting an enterprise-grade test strategy. Moving forward, your primary focus will be designing, implementing, and scaling a robust mobile test automation framework from scratch using Appium.

Engagement Details
Role: Senior Quality Engineer.
Capacity: Full-time (1 FTE).
Start Date: ASAP
Location & Work Model: Remote with sporadic travel to Warsaw, Poland (Client expectation is roughly once a month, but realistically closer to once a quarter for a 2-day onsite visit including 1 overnight stay).
Language Requirement: Polish at a minimum C1 level
Responsibilities
Strategic QA Architecture: Author, formalize, and execute a comprehensive, long-term test strategy tailored to the post-MVP lifecycle of the mobile launcher application.
Quality Audit: Conduct a deep-dive audit of existing builds, manual test procedures, and current product stability to establish a data-driven quality baseline.
Framework Automation: Design, build, and maintain a scalable, low-maintenance automated testing framework optimized for native/hybrid mobile systems.
End-to-End Validation: Implement automated UI, functional, and regression test suites to guarantee app performance across diverse target devices.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with development, product, and platform engineering teams to seamlessly embed quality gates into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
Seniority: Proven track record operating as a Senior QA Automation Engineer, preferably with deep experience in mobile application ecosystems.
Core Mobile Stack: Extensive, production-grade expertise with Appium for mobile automation.
Strategic Capability: Demonstrated experience writing technical test strategies, defining quality metrics, and standing up test infrastructure from the ground up.
Autonomy: Highly self-directed mindset, capable of driving technical decisions and engineering timelines independently.
