Join a leading European software firm specializing in enterprise HR and payroll accounting solutions as a Senior QA Automation Engineer. Your mission is to mature, scale, and integrate automated test suites within modern CI/CD pipelines. You will take ownership of end-to-end (E2E), API, and visual regression testing frameworks, ensuring high system reliability across complex multi-viewport environments and third-party partner integrations.

Details

  • Allocation: Part-time (0.5 FTE).

  • Rate: 140 PLN/h.

  • Start Date: June 15, 2026.

  • Duration: through the end of September 2026, with a strong possibility of extension.

  • Work Model: 100% Remote

Responsibilities

  • Framework Engineering: Architect, maintain, and optimize robust automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript, applying the Page Object Model (POM).

  • Visual & Cross-Device Testing: Implement multi-viewport layouts and manage visual regression testing baselines to ensure cross-platform UI consistency.

  • API Validation: Author automated backend tests covering REST endpoints, JSON schema validations, and mock layer behaviors for external supplier sandboxes.

  • Data & Environment Parity: Manage test data states across staging and pre-production tiers, actively mitigating data state and caching discrepancies (e.g., live vs. Redis cached layers).

  • CI/CD Quality Gates: Embed tests directly into orchestration pipelines, establishing parallel execution paths, reliable post-deployment smoke test strategies, and clear reporting quality gates.

Requirements

  • Core Automation Stack: Strong, senior-level hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript / JavaScript), dynamic async patterns, and custom fixtures.

  • API Testing: Proven experience in API automation, contract testing concepts, and debugging systems connected via shared infrastructure caching tiers.

  • CI/CD Integration: Practical experience working with major automation runners (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI).

  • Methodologies: In-depth knowledge of visual regression tooling, smoke test design for live deployments, and managing test isolation.

  • Languages: English at a minimum B2 level (clear technical and collaborative writing).

Nice to Have

  • AI-Assisted QA: Experience leveraging AI-powered tools for automated test generation, test deduplication, flaky test triage, or test coverage expansion.
