ABOUT THE COMPANY

We're building Europe's leading platform for managing warehouse, logistics, retail, and multi-site commercial real estate portfolios. Our unified facilities management platform already powers the daily operations of over 250 million m² of real estate worldwide, supporting more than 500,000 professionals across 100,000+ buildings in 35+ countries.

🏢 Summary: Lead UI/UX Designer role owning end-to-end product design, visual language, and design system for a learning and research product. You will turn ambiguous problems into clear UX flows and high-fidelity UI, collaborating closely with engineering to ship polished experiences. The role combines product design, brand identity, and rapid user validation with full ownership of quality and craft. 🗂️ Requirements: Proven experience in end-to-end UI/UX design for digital products, Ability to create UX flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI, Experience defining and scaling design systems with components and variants, Proficiency in Figma for auto-layout, prototyping, and system management, Experience collaborating closely with engineering for production handoff, Ability to conduct lightweight user research and rapid validation, Strong understanding of HCI principles and interaction design, Ability to define and maintain cohesive brand identity across product surfaces 📃 Skills: Figma, UX, UI, Prototyping, Wireframing, DesignSystems, Typography, Illustration, Branding, HCI, InteractionDesign, AutoLayout, UserResearch 🏢 Description: ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an expert UI/UX designer with outstanding taste and a bias for shipping to lead every visual and brand aspect of our product — from the core design system down to the last pixel. This is not a "pure artist" role. You'll work in a tight product team, iterate fast, and make hard trade-offs when reality demands it. You'll own the visual language of a product used by people who care deeply about learning and research. The expectation is high — you define what good looks like, and you hold that bar as the product grows. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Core product journeys Own end-to-end design for the most important product experiences — search and discovery, reading, notes, and collaboration. Turn ambiguous problems into clear UX flows, prototypes, and shippable UI. Design system Define and evolve the design system — components, variants, states — so the team can move fast without quality regressions as features multiply. Craft and details Raise the bar on hierarchy, interaction, motion, and micro-details so the product feels inevitable rather than assembled. Engineering collaboration Work in a tight shipping loop with engineering to land high-fidelity designs in production exactly as intended. User research Run lightweight user research and rapid validation when it meaningfully reduces risk — not as a process, but as a tool. Brand coherence Keep brand and marketing surfaces coherent with the product — visual language, typography, and key visuals. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Elite communication You set expectations accurately and live up to them. No surprises on timelines, scope, or quality. Deep resilience Feedback cycles, tight deadlines, tough discussions — you have a large buffer before stress impacts your output. No ego Your work gets better through collaboration. We're here to build something great, not to manage insecurities. Product mastery You understand what makes great software feel inevitable — clarity, hierarchy, consistency, motion, copy, and details. You've studied the best and can articulate why it works. Brand instinct You can define a visual identity that feels premium, coherent, and distinctly ours — and keep it consistent as the product scales. HCI fascination Deeply interested in human-computer interaction. Actively exploring AI-native interfaces and new interaction primitives that feel intuitive, not bolted on. Bonus Ex-founder experience. DESIGN STACK Figma for components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping, and design systems. Brand identity, guidelines, typography, colour, and illustration. Close collaboration with engineering for production handoff. Lightweight user research and validation. The stack isn't fixed — outcomes matter more than tools. 🏢 Summary: Founding Product Manager role in a defence software startup building modern software for military and police units. The position focuses initially on deep customer and competitive research in voice LLM systems, then transitions to owning the product roadmap and execution with engineering. It requires zero-to-one product building in a high-ambiguity, early-stage environment. 🗂️ Requirements: Experience working with armed forces or police organisations, Eligibility for French security clearance or willingness to travel to Ukraine, Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements, Experience with early-stage or zero-to-one product development, Strong stakeholder management between technical and operational teams, Comfort with rapid prototyping and iterative development 📃 Skills: LLM, VoiceAI, AI, Prototyping, Roadmapping, Prioritization, Research, CompetitiveAnalysis, StakeholderManagement, SecurityClearance 🏢 Description: ABOUT THE COMPANY We're a European defence software startup operating between Paris and Warsaw. Our mission is to build modern software for hostile environments — our customers are European military and police units. We do not work on weapons systems or hardware products. We're currently in stealth but have been recognised as one of France's top 20 seed-stage companies. We're backed by Europe's leading defence VC and strategic partners who include founders of well-known technology companies and defence specialists. Our founding team brings together deep software engineering experience, defence-sector research backgrounds, and operational special forces experience. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding-team role. As Founding Product Manager, you'll be the bridge between customers, engineering, and the business — working directly with the founders to shape what gets built and why. In the early phase, the focus will be heavily on customer and competitive research, particularly around state-of-the-art voice LLM systems. Over time, the role transitions into roadmap ownership and close collaboration with the engineering team to execute. You'll need to be comfortable starting from scratch, handling ambiguity, engaging in rapid prototyping, and doing things that don't scale yet. This is not a role for someone who needs a mature process to be effective. WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON Customer research and discovery Spend time directly with customers — military and emergency services units — to understand their needs, workflows, and the gap between current product capabilities and ideal solutions. Build a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, particularly in voice AI. Engineering communication and prioritisation Translate customer requirements into clear, prioritised inputs for the engineering team. Own the process of closing the gap between what the product does today and what customers need it to do. Roadmap ownership Work closely with the founders to align product development with overall business strategy. Manage the roadmap for the first products from the ground up. Rapid prototyping and iteration Be prepared to move fast, test assumptions quickly, and do things that don't scale in order to generate the signal needed to make better decisions. WHAT WE LOOK FOR Experience working with armed forces Prior experience working within or alongside military or police organisations is essential. You understand how these customers think, communicate, and make decisions. Security clearance eligibility Ability to obtain French security clearance, or willingness to travel to Ukraine for customer engagements. Comfort with ambiguity and zero-to-one work You're energised by early-stage environments where the brief is incomplete and the path isn't defined. You build structure rather than wait for it. Strong communication and stakeholder management Able to operate fluently between technical engineering teams and non-technical operational customers, keeping both aligned without losing either. Bonus Founder or entrepreneurial experience. Familiarity with voice AI or LLM systems. Background in defence, intelligence, or emergency services. THE TEAM Small and deliberately assembled. The founding team brings together engineers with deep experience at a leading technology company, a former special forces commander with operational field experience, defence-sector PhDs, and ex-founders. It's a team built for this specific problem — technically rigorous, operationally credible, and moving fast. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary €60,000 – €110,000 depending on experience. Equity Meaningful equity as a founding team member. Relocation Sponsorship available for candidates relocating.
