Summary
The Cisco SD-WAN Catalyst Build and Support Senior Expert is tasked with designing, deploying, and managing Cisco SD-WAN Catalyst solutions across our global network, ensuring secure and high-performance connectivity for critical applications.
Main Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, deployment, and configuration of Cisco SD-WAN Catalyst solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation: solution designs, implementation plans, and standard operating procedures.
Integrate SD-WAN solutions with existing network infrastructure and cloud environments.
Collaborate with security, application, and infrastructure teams for seamless integration.
Provide advanced technical support for incident response, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
Serve as the escalation point for complex SD-WAN-related issues.
Monitor network health, performance, and security, proactively addressing risks.
Stay updated with Cisco SD-WAN product trends and best practices.
Recommend enhancements to improve network security, reliability, and efficiency.
Conduct training sessions for IT Level 2 staff and end-users support group.
Ensure SD-WAN deployments comply with security policies and related regulations.
Participate in audits, risk assessments, and documentation reviews as needed.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years in network engineering, with at least 2 years focused on Cisco SD-WAN solutions.
Expertise in Cisco SD-WAN Catalyst, including vManage, vSmart, vBond, and edge devices.
Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs, QoS.
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Cisco SD-WAN Specialist).
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
