Job Summary:
Are you a proactive and skilled Test Environment Manager looking to make a meaningful impact? Join our dynamic GDC COI Orchestration Squad, where you’ll manage test environment service availability, oversee the provisioning of new test environments, and support usage demands both within and outside the tribe.
Our test environment landscape includes both on-premise environments and a growing number of applications on the Euroclear Azure Cloud tenant. Your role will be crucial in ensuring system stability and functionality before release, managing non-production test environments, and supporting quality development throughout the Value Delivery Life Cycle (VDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
Test Environment Provisioning and Demand Coordination:
Develop and implement test environment strategies based on requirements.
Assist in the maintenance and upgrades of test environments.
Collaborate with other test environment management teams and requestors via the Test Environment Board.
Test Environment Monitoring:
Identify and resolve issues related to the environments you manage.
Track and report on the status and performance of test environments.
Keep stakeholders informed about test environment availability.
Implement controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of test data.
Process Improvement:
Maintain and enhance documentation for environment setup, deployment processes, and error troubleshooting.
Support the implementation of automated testing, performance testing, and monitoring solutions.
Promote continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
Ensure the implementation of processes defined globally at the CoP Testing level.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Support the escalation and resolution of general environment issues faced by the squads.
Ensure effective communication within the Tribe and follow up on various TEM activities.
Address TEM issues or friction points and participate in the TEM CoPs.
Provide requested data and reports for central consolidation and maintain TEM central databases as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.
Experience as a Test Environment Manager or in a similar role.
Knowledge of Azure DevOps, Azure Cloud, DynaTrace, and Splunk is preferred.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
