ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Tech Lead to drive technical direction for an assigned team, covering everything from database design to user interface. You'll take full accountability for scalability, performance, and code quality — translating business needs into technical solutions and shaping the operational backbone of a high-growth SaaS company with global reach.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week in the office.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

Architecture and technical leadership Drive architecture decisions — not just code reviews. Own the technical direction for your team and ensure solutions are scalable, performant, and built to last.

Business-to-technical translation Work closely with PMs, QA, mobile teams, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions and vice versa.

Sprint planning and delivery Decompose epics into actionable tasks, support sprint planning, and keep delivery on track across a cross-functional team.

AI-augmented development Actively use AI tools — Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT — as part of your daily workflow. We expect our engineers to leverage these tools to move faster and build better.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Senior PHP engineering experience 5+ years of hands-on PHP experience with a strong grasp of architecture, performance, and code quality in product environments.

Prior Tech Lead experience You've led a team before — you know how to balance technical ownership with enabling others to do their best work.

Mobile development familiarity Experience with Flutter or mobile development. You don't need to be a mobile specialist, but you can work across the stack.

Cloud platform knowledge Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms and how to build and deploy at scale.
