Help us modernize the software that keeps NHS hospitals running. In February 2026, SINGU acquired Synbiotix – a UK platform used daily by NHS Trusts across England, Wales, and Scotland to manage catering, cleaning, infection prevention, audits, and compliance. The platform works. The codebase is mature. Now we're rebuilding the user experience for the next 20 years, migrating from a legacy stack to a modern Blazor application – and growing a new engineering hub in Kraków to lead that work. What you'll do: Own end-to-end delivery: requirements → API → implementation → release. Work across the full stack: .NET (C#, ASP.NET , Web API, EF) and SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, SSIS). Substantial backend work, not frontend-only. Lead the Blazor migration: architecture, components, performance, accessibility. Shape how the Polish hub works: code standards, patterns, ways of working. The team 3 developers in Kraków today, scaling to 6 (you'd be one of three new hires). 11 developers in Cyprus, plus Synbiotix domain experts in the UK with two decades of NHS experience. You'll report locally to an Engineering Manager and Team Lead in Poland. You'll thrive here if: You've shipped real production .NET systems ( C#, ASP.NET/Web API, EF, SQL Server ). You're confident across the stack and either know Blazor or are excited to go deep on it ( Angular/React/Vue background is fine). You enjoy migration work – untangling legacy, deciding what to preserve, shipping incrementally. You speak fluent English and Polish – English for daily work with Cyprus and the UK, Polish for the Kraków hub. You want ownership and influence over a codebase to disappear into. Honest notes: The legacy stack is mature – ASP.NET MVC, Web API, EF, jQuery, SSIS. That's why we're hiring seniors to lead the modernization. The Polish hub is new – meaningful influence on engineering practices, but you'll help build them, not inherit them. No formal on-call – occasional out-of-hours attention is rare, and putting proper processes in place is part of what this role can shape. The practical stuff: Salary: 20,000–24,000 PLN net B2B, or 16,600–19,900 PLN gross UoP. Hybrid: 2–3 days/week from our Kraków office. Top-notch Apple equipment , private healthcare (dental + vision), life and health insurance, sport card, annual training budget, commute subsidy, referral programme, extra day off for medical check-ups, annual team offsite. Any given month you might be setting up a new automation project from zero , going deep on an API regression suite , or prototyping something in security or performance . Our recent QA hires joined specifically because nothing else looked this open-ended. We're growing the team and hiring three Regular QA Engineers . What you'll do: Build and maintain automated tests across multiple SINGU products – web and API as the baseline, with optional depth in security, performance, accessibility, or mobile Set up new automation projects from scratch. You're not inheriting someone else's flaky suite Write tests in Playwright (TypeScript) and ship them through Jenkins / Bitbucket Pipelines Pick a specialization that fits your interest and run with it – there's real demand across the board Contribute to QA standards and practices across the group Your development path – partly your call, partly ours This is the part most of our recent hires said sold them on the role. Where you go deeper is a conversation: your interests on one side, what the business needs most at the moment on the other . We meet in the middle, and it actually works – people here have shifted focus as priorities and interests evolved. The directions we have real demand for: Security — ZAP, dynamic scanners, OWASP. We'd love one of the three hires to know this space or actively want to grow into it. Not a pentester role , but real security work in a QA context. Performance testing — open space to build this out. Accessibility — room to own it and shape how we approach it. Mobile — we already have two engineers focused on this, so mobile depth is welcome but not required. If it interests you, there's room to plug in. End-to-end and API automation — the bread and butter, and where most of the team's time goes. You'll thrive here if: You've shipped production test automation as a Regular QA Engineer You're hands-on with Playwright or Cypress in TypeScript You're comfortable with API testing (REST, HTTP, JSON) You want to write code, not click through manual scripts – this role is 100% automation You can run with autonomy and don't need someone scheduling your week You speak fluent Polish and English (B2/C1) – both used daily across the team and the wider group Nice to have: CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar) Security testing — OWASP Top 10, ZAP, dynamic scanners Track record of setting up automation projects from zero Agile / Scrum team experience Understanding of test environments and test data management Honest notes: The dev side has substantial legacy (PHP, .NET). That's part of why QA matters here — your automation is the safety net for refactoring and migration work happening in parallel. The QA stack itself is modern. The team is small and the structure is light . We move fast and expect you to figure things out. If you want a fully laid-out playbook, this isn't it. We hire on automation, but functional testing instinct still matters — you're testing real products used by real customers, not just writing scripts. What we offer: 💰 Competitive Salary Range – Depending on your experience, we offer between 15'000 - 18'500 PLN net on a B2B contract , or 12'500 – 15'400 PLN gross on Contract of Employment. 🤝 A fantastic, engaged, and experienced team – Collaborate with passionate people who love what they do. 🎯 An environment open to innovation – We embrace creativity and new ideas in a dynamic setting. 🏡 A family-like atmosphere with a "you" culture – in a company that values "we". 📚 Annual budget for training & education – Invest in yourself with a dedicated budget for learning & development—no need to take a day off, it’s included in your working hours! 🕘 Flexible working hours – Work the way that suits you best. 🩺 Private healthcare (including dental & vision care) – Your well-being is important to us 📆 Extra day off for medical check-ups – Because your health comes first 🌍 Annual team offsite – Spend time with the team in a beautiful location. 🍏 Top-notch Apple equipment – The best tools to do your best work. 🥐 Monthly themed breakfasts – Start your day with great food & company. 🎁 Referral Program – Get rewarded for bringing great people on board.

If you’re ready to help build Europe’s leading platform for property operations — and make a tangible impact on how the real estate industry works — join SINGU and be part of this transformation. Build the architecture for SINGU's newest revenue line — Project Tracker. The product Project Tracker is SINGU's new module for managing CAPEX/OPEX projects across commercial real estate portfolios. MVP went live early this year. Foundations work, but the architecture for the next few years is still open. Traction is real: 294 people from 110 clients on the waitlist (Prologis, Mapletree, NEPI, Globalworth, Segro). After a demo, Prologis's Director of Global Operations asked for early access. Separately priced module – a revenue line, not a free feature. Alongside Project Tracker, we have several AI initiatives in active development across the platform. As Tech Lead you won't be siloed in one module – you'll have visibility and a seat at the table on the broader AI work shaping where the product goes next. The team Small and co-located in our Kraków office: a PM, a UX designer, a backend developer, a fullstack developer, and a mobile developer, QA sits in a dedicated team alongside us. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder on the same floor. The stack PHP 8 on Phalcon (monolith), PostgreSQL, React 18 in parts of the UI, TypeScript. What you'll do – honestly This isn't a pure tech role. You'll juggle: Architecture: decisions that stick for years on a module still finding its shape. Requirements analysis & work decomposition: turning client needs into shippable scope. Hands-on development: you ship code. People work: knowing when to call the shot and when to trust the team. What we're looking for: 5+ years commercial PHP (8+), confident with Git, PHPUnit, PHPStan, CSFixer. Fluent in PostgreSQL (schema, performance, migrations). Production React (TypeScript preferred). SOLID, design patterns, REST API design as second nature. You actively use AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) – expected, not nice-to-have. Tech Lead experience: either proven, or you've been making technical and architectural decisions as a senior and are ready to step into the role Polish fluent enough to work daily with the team. English good enough to run client meetings: our clients are a mix of Polish and international, so you'll switch between both depending on the call. Nice-to-haves: Flutter, AWS, Kubernetes/Docker/CI, experience with Phalcon or similar lightweight PHP frameworks. Honest notes Project Tracker is early – a new module still in active development. The MVP is live, but the product is taking shape and you're shaping its architecture, not inheriting it The role is a mix. Hands-on + architecture + analysis + people. If you want to stop coding, this isn't it. No on-call for this role. The practical stuff Salary: 20,000–25,000 PLN net B2B / 16,600–20,750 PLN gross UoP. Hybrid: 2–3 days/week from Kraków office. Top-notch Apple equipment , private healthcare (dental + vision), life and health insurance, sport card, annual training budget, commute subsidy, referral programme, extra day off for medical check-ups, annual team offsite.
