We are currently looking for a Guidewire Rating Developer to strengthen our PolicyCenter product modeling and rating capabilities. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing rating logic, rate books, and pricing algorithms within Guidewire.

This position supports the U.S. insurance market, and a 3–4 hour overlap with U.S. working hours is expected.

What you will do:

Rating Logic & Product Modeling

  • Design and implement rating logic, rate books, and pricing algorithms in Guidewire (primarily PolicyCenter).

  • Translate actuarial and underwriting requirements into configurable, auditable rating engines.

  • Implement rating worksheets, modifiers, tiers, eligibility criteria, and rating factors.

Technical Implementation

  • Develop and enhance product definition components using Gosu, XML, and Guidewire Product Model tools.

  • Ensure premium calculations are accurate, performant, transparent, and compliant with U.S. regulatory standards.

  • Participate in configuration of business rules, validation logic, and underwriting workflows that depend on rating outputs.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Work closely with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product Management, Architecture, and QA teams.

  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and release planning.

  • Create and maintain documentation for rating logic and product rules.

  • Support cross‑team knowledge sharing within a multi‑vendor, distributed delivery environment.

What we are looking for:

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer or Rating Developer.

  • Practical experience with:

  • Rating Engine, rate books, pricing logic, product modeling

  • Gosu, Guidewire Configuration Framework

  • XML, PCF, and Guidewire Product Model tools

  • Strong understanding of P&C insurance rating concepts (coverages, limits, factors, modifiers, eligibility rules).

  • Experience working in projects aligned to U.S. insurance market requirements is a strong advantage.

Additional Expectations:

  • 3–4 hour daily overlap with U.S. working hours.

  • Fluent English.
