Description

Join a dedicated radiology team performing minimally invasive, image-guided breast biopsy procedures, including stereotactic techniques. In addition to diagnostic imaging interpretation (mammograms and other studies), you will provide patient consultations, coordinate interventional procedure planning with referring physicians, and ensure appropriate post-procedure follow-up. You will maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality assurance and ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast biopsies, including image-guided stereotactic procedures
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including mammograms
• Consult with patients to explain procedures and address concerns
• Collaborate with referring physicians to plan and execute interventional procedures
• Monitor patients after procedures, manage complications, and provide follow-up care
• Maintain detailed medical records
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advances in interventional radiology and participate in continuing education
• Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in New Jersey
• Proficiency in performing breast biopsy procedures
• Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
