Description

Join a days-only radiology role focused on image-guided breast biopsies (including stereotactic), diagnostic imaging interpretation (including mammograms), and patient consultation. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to plan and execute interventional procedures, provide post-procedure monitoring and follow-up, and support quality assurance and continuous education.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast biopsies, including stereotactic procedures
• Interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including mammograms
• Provide thorough patient consultations to explain procedures and address concerns
• Collaborate with referring physicians on procedure planning and execution
• Monitor patients post-procedure, manage complications, and provide follow-up care
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives
• Stay current with advancements in interventional radiology techniques and technologies
• Work closely with radiologists, oncologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Radiology
• Valid medical license to practice in New Jersey
• Proficiency in performing breast biopsy procedures
• Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement
