Quick Facts

• Role: Hospitalist Physician

• Compensation: $1500/day (1099)

• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off; 8 AM–6 PM (no overnights)

• Patient census: 12–15 patients per day

Description

Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized patients. You will conduct daily rounds, assess patient conditions, and develop treatment plans while coordinating with the care team and documenting accurately in the CPSI EMR system. Effective communication with patients, families, and medical staff is essential, along with participation in quality improvement initiatives as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care to hospitalized patients

• Manage and coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals

• Conduct daily rounds, assess patient conditions, and develop treatment plans

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the CPSI EMR system

• Communicate with patients, families, and medical staff

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and hospital committees

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Valid medical license to practice in Florida

• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• CPSI EMR experience preferred; training available
