Description

You will develop and maintain high-quality Python backend applications and services, including REST APIs with FastAPI and AI-powered workflow orchestration for business automation using LLMs and agentic approaches. The role includes integrating backend services with databases, other systems, and AI solutions, while optimizing performance and debugging production issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python backend applications and services

• Build and evolve production REST APIs using FastAPI

• Implement AI workflow and agentic solutions orchestration (LangGraph/LangChain or similar)

• Develop AI/LLM/agent applications and supporting services/components

• Integrate backend services with other systems, databases, and AI solutions

• Process and transform large datasets and files with attention to performance and memory usage

• Develop asynchronous/concurrent processing using asyncio

• Profile and debug Python applications (memory leaks, performance issues, high CPU)

• Diagnose production problems and analyze application logs

• Maintain and refactor legacy applications; update Python versions and dependencies

• Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, deployment, and production maintenance

• Perform code reviews; ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability

• Work with CI/CD processes to support reliable software delivery

• Contribute to architecture discussions and best practices for Python, AI, and cloud-native solutions

• Collaborate with distributed teams in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and translate technical topics into business outcomes

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial backend development experience in Python

• Very good knowledge of Python and building REST API

• Practical experience with FastAPI and production APIs

• Experience building AI applications and orchestrating workflows in Python

• Practical knowledge of LangGraph, LangChain, or similar frameworks for AI workflows and agentic solutions

• Experience profiling and debugging Python apps (memory leaks, performance, high CPU)

• Experience efficiently processing and transforming large datasets and files

• Very good knowledge of asynchronous Python programming (asyncio and concurrent workloads)

• Experience diagnosing issues in production and analyzing application logs

• Good knowledge of Git and collaboration practices

• Experience with existing/legacy applications, refactoring, and updating Python and dependencies

• Good English communication (spoken and written)
