Description

Provides Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and/or Diabetes Self-management Education/Training (DSMT). Implements the patient’s plan of care based on diagnosis in a timely manner using sound clinical judgment and developed clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication to build patient and family/support-group cooperation and trust.

• Ensure delivery of optimal patient care while adhering to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited degree program and a supervised practice program accredited by ACEND.

• RD or RDN credential within 90 days (or one of the posting’s listed specialty certifications).

• 2 years of recent relevant experience.

Benefits

• Pay range: $53.98 to $75.57 per hour.
