Description

Join a collaborative cardiology team as a locum tenens Interventional Cardiologist, providing comprehensive adult cardiac care in a state-of-the-art program. The position is predominantly inpatient (80%) with cath lab coverage and minimal phone-based call, plus some outpatient responsibility (20%). Work is supported by ancillary/administrative staff and documented in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rounding and hospital coverage

• Manage cath lab coverage

• Handle minimal on-call duties via beeper/phone (average callback ~2 hours)

• Provide outpatient care as part of the hybrid schedule

• Document and manage care using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board certification in Interventional Cardiology

• Completion of an Interventional Cardiology fellowship

• Current BLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

• At least 2 years of interventional cardiology experience

• No malpractice or license issues

• Weekend availability

• Active Ohio medical license preferred
