Description

Orthopedic Surgeon needed for hospital and clinic coverage in Oregon, including inpatient care and outpatient clinic services. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, orthopedic trauma evaluation, consultations, and participation in night and weekend call while working independently. Patient care documentation is completed in Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient orthopedic care

• See approximately 12–20 clinic patients per day

• Round on hospitalized patients and manage inpatient admissions

• Evaluate and treat orthopedic trauma cases within provider privileges

• Provide orthopedic consultations

• Participate in night and weekend call coverage

Requirements

• MD/DO required

• Active Oregon medical license required at time of presentation

• BLS certification required

• Orthopedic Surgery experience required

• Documentation of at least 100 clinical patients/cases within the previous 24 months representative of requested privileges

• Recent Epic experience required within the last 6 months

• Comfortable working independently as the sole orthopedic provider during coverage
