Description

This locum Psychiatry Physician assignment provides adult psychiatric evaluation and treatment in both outpatient and inpatient behavioral health settings. You will manage admissions, rounding, and discharges while delivering care independently in a collaborative environment. Documentation is completed in Epic EMR with an average of 12–14 patients per day.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients
• Deliver care in outpatient clinic and inpatient behavioral health settings
• Perform patient rounding, admissions, and discharge management
• Independently manage an average of 12–14 patients per day
• Document patient encounters using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board Certified in Psychiatry
• Active Washington medical license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience required
• Documentation of 100 representative psychiatric patient cases from the previous 24 months (diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (no exemptions)
