Description

Join a collaborative hospital inpatient psychiatric unit providing care for adult patients. In this no-call assignment, you will handle rounding and admissions as part of a team and have no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient rounding
• Manage inpatient psychiatric admissions
• Provide consultative inpatient psychiatric care as needed
• Collaborate with the behavioral health team
• Document using Epic EMR

Requirements

• Oregon medical license required (IMLC accepted); active Oregon license preferred for timely presentation
• BLS certification required
• Clinical activity requirement: inpatient/consultative experience with at least 30 patients within the past 24 months, or qualifying recent training
• Hospital privileges required
• Ability to work the stated 11-hour daytime schedule with urgent start
