Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable AWS backend applications for an IoT platform that supports connected consumer devices. The role focuses on building backend services and REST APIs with Node.js and/or Python, managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform, and ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability. You will also contribute to CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with architects and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications in AWS

• Build backend services and REST API interfaces using Node.js and/or Python

• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform

• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of applications and cloud infrastructure

• Diagnose and resolve backend technical issues

• Develop IoT platform features for connected consumer devices

• Collaborate with architects, Product Owners, business analysts, and engineering teams

• Maintain code quality via code reviews, automated tests, and system monitoring

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and improve deployment processes

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience

• Practical knowledge of AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS/EKS)

• Very good knowledge of Node.js and/or Python for backend application development

• Solid experience with Terraform and IaC

• Very good knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems

• Ability to diagnose problems and design reliable, scalable solutions

• Experience working in Agile

• English at least B2
