Description

Build and run high-performance, messaging-based Java applications on Azure, covering both development and DevOps responsibilities. Containerize services, deploy them to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) with Helm, and manage cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform. Integrate messaging with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ and tune application performance across environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java (Spring Boot) applications for high-performance messaging systems

• Build and integrate messaging solutions using Kafka and RabbitMQ

• Containerize applications and deploy them to AKS with Helm

• Manage cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform

• Work with SQL and PostgreSQL databases and in-memory data grids (Apache Ignite, Hazelcast)

• Tune application performance and troubleshoot issues across environments

Requirements

• 5–10 years of relevant experience

• Java development with Spring Boot and Spring Security

• DevOps experience with containerisation, Helm, Azure, AKS, and Terraform

• Messaging experience with Kafka and/or RabbitMQ

• Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL; Apache Ignite or Hazelcast

• Experience with high-performance messaging applications and performance tuning

• Fluent English (technical and business)

• Polish/EU citizenship or permanent residence / work permit valid for at least 12 months

• Live in or near Kraków
